Camp Completion May 7-11

  • Here's an opportunity just for faculty and advanced graduate students:

Do you have a work "in progress" that's been in progress for too long? Would you like some help getting it to the finish line? Join your colleagues at Camp Completion, a writer's retreat on the UNO campus scheduled for May 7-11.

Participants will meet at 9:00 every day, Monday 5/7 through Friday 5/11, and after a brief check-in, they'll have uninterrupted time to write - no email, no phone calls, no knocks on the door. Fresh coffee will be available all day, and the Center for Faculty Development will provide lunches. Senior Consultant Harley Trimble will be on hand to provide feedback as requested.

Registration is limited. To sign up, please call 402-554-2946 or send a note to unowritingcenter@unomaha.edu.

Welcome!

The Writing Center invites UNO students, faculty, and staff in all university divisions to work with a writing consultant on any university-related writing project. You may use this free service to work on your writing assignments, application essays, business letters, or other projects.

Because our goal is to help you become an effective, independent writer, we will not edit papers for you; instead, we will help you develop the ability to edit your own work.
