Office of Financial Support and Scholarships
Many of our students utilize financial aid and The Office of Financial Support and Scholarships has excellent resources for FAFSA information and assistance. The first step is to submit your FAFSA. Military-Connected Resource Center (MCRC)

Metropolitan Advantage Program
UNO offers residents or high school graduates of several southwestern Iowa counties the opportunity to attend UNO at significantly reduced tuition rates through an initiative called the Metropolitan Advantage Program.
Midwest Student Exchange Program
The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a multi-state tuition reciprocity program. Through the MSEP, public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs; private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition rates.
Maverick Payment Plan
UNO partners with Nelnet Business Solutions to offer a payment plan for currently enrolled students. Students have an option to spread their out-of-pocket expenses over the course of the semester.
Employer Reimbursement Deferred Payment Plan
Employer Reimbursement Deferred Payment Plan is an option for students whose employers offer tuition reimbursement.
