Volunteer. Make an Impact.

Whether you have a few hours, a desire to lead an event, mentor a team, or work behind the scenes, your help will make an impact.

Volunteer for the Science Olympiad

Volunteer to Supervise an Event

Event Supervisors serve as judges for their specific event and are considered a subject matter expert. Depending on the event, event supervisors will either compose and grade exams or judge experiments and contraptions.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Composing event exam
  • Grading event exam
  • Printing event exams
  • Answering coach inquiries
  • Responding to team appeals
  • Breaking ties
  • Applying point deductions (if applicable)

  • Inquiry & Nature

The Nebraska Science Olympiad tournament would not exist without our dedicated volunteers! Thank you for volunteering to make an impact on the lives on young Nebraskans.

We need volunteers during the state tournament for the following types of activities:

  • Assisting attendees
  • Awards ceremony tasks
  • Assisting with event set up
