For the past 15 years, WBILS has reached beyond the labor movement by sponsoring our Promoting the General Welfare Conference. This daylong event brings labor leaders together with community leaders, faith-based organizations, social work professionals, students and faculty, all with the goal of getting to know one another better and expanding the boundaries of our democracy.
