Amanda Parker, Graduate Assistant

I joined CPAR as a graduate assistant because of the endless growth opportunities through research projects that serve Nebraska. In this role, I conduct literature reviews; code and organize data; and assist the director with administrative and research assignments. I have been awarded the NASA Nebraska Space Grant Fellowship. With the assistance of CPAR Director Josie Schafer, I will be focusing my research on how we can recruit and retain women in STEM in Nebraska. Upon finishing my final report, I will be presenting at the Nebraska Academy of Sciences.
