Religious Studies at UNO annually awards about $11,000 in scholarships to Religion Majors.

Ron Burke Scholarship

Application Deadline: February 28th each year
Criteria:
  1. Religious Studies major in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Nebraska Omaha
  2. Junior or senior class standing (junior standing requires 58 credit hours)
  3. Write an 250-300 word personal narrative about how the study of religion will influence your career
Amount: Up to $2500 per academic year

Dale Stover Scholarship

Application Deadline: February 28th each year
Criteria:
  1. Candidates must be regularly enrolled at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
  2. Recipients shall have a sophomore class standing (27 hours) or above.
  3. Recipients shall have at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
  4. Candidates shall be religious studies majors in the College of Arts and Sciences or have declared religious studies as their area of concentration (major) in the Division of Continuing Studies.
  5. Application by deadline
Amount: $500 per academic year

John and Mary (Lea) Marshall Scholarship

Application Deadline: February 28th each year
Criteria:
  1. Religious Studies major, minor, or concentration in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Nebraska Omaha
  2. Junior or senior class standing (junior standing requires 58 credit hours)
  3. Enrollment in RELI 4000 course and participation in a Tri-Faith Initiative internship
Amount: TBD
