Employee of the Month Nomination Forms:

UNO faculty, staff, or students may nominate any Managerial/Professional or Office/Service employee for Employee of the Month. The Employee of the Month Committee, consisting of the President of the Staff Advisory Council, the President of the Faculty Senate, a representative from the Chancellors Office, and the Director of Human Resources, will consider all nominees who are in good standing.

Substance Abuse Policy - March 2008 :

Below is the University’s Substance Abuse Policy, which is in compliance with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, and the Board of Regents approved “Standard of Conduct for Employees and Students Regarding Alcohol and Drugs.” The University annually distributes the policy to all faculty and staff.

The Substance Abuse Policy and the Penalties/Sanctions Charts are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. For questions about the policy, please call the Human Resources Office at 4-2321.
