Nebraska Science Olympiad 2025 is in the books!

The UNO STEM TRAIL Center proudly sponsored the Nebraska Science Olympiad for the first time this year, supporting two invitational tournaments and partnering with UNL to host the State Tournament at their East Campus on Saturday, April 26.

The Nebraska Science Olympiad is a rigorous academic competition for middle and high school students, designed to inspire and empower Nebraska’s young STEM talent. This year, Nebraska supported 91 teams, with 50 advancing to the State Tournament. 525 middle and high school students competed at the state tournament in 23 challenging Science Olympiad events, including written exams, laboratory experiments, and device-building and testing activities.

Please reach out to Deanna Johansen if you would like to start a team at your school or volunteer at tournaments for the 2025-2026 year.
