9/11/2026: Patriot Day Flag Display / 9.11 Memorial Climb
Join us as we fill the Pep Bowl with American Flags in Memory of the Lives lost on 9.11 and take the Stairmaster Challenge with our Student Veterans of America UNO Chapter.
9/18/2026: MCRC Community Resource Fair / POW-MIA Recognition Table
We are hosting numerous campus and community organizations which provide resources which support students and Veterans in the UNO and Omaha area.
Stop by the POW-MIA table to remember those who never made it home.
9/29/2026: Guard For A Day
The Nebraska Army National Guard will be taking over campus with tanks, helicopters, and more!
10/2/2026 - 10/4/2026: US Air Force Academy Trip
The Office of Military and Veteran Services will be making an inaugural journey with students to Colorado Springs to watch Maverick Hockey take on the USAF Academy Falcons, Tour the USAF Academy, and attend the Air Force vs. Navy Game. Seats will be limited - learn more during our Welcome Week events!
