The Grace Abbott Training and Supervision Academy (GATSA) is committed to providing a positive and enriching training experience for all participants, clients, and students. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, we’ve outlined key information about our policies, procedures, and practices. These details are here to support your experience and protect the integrity of our program.

Department of Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure

CEUs approved for social work and mental health practice in Nebraska are provided in accordance with the approval criteria established by the Nebraska Board of Examiners in Mental Health Practice. Continuing education programs are designed to meet continuing education requirements for licensed mental health practitioners and social workers in the state of Nebraska.

Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE)

Grace Abbott Training and Supervision Academy (GATSA), provider #2006, is approved as an Approved Continuing Education (ACE) provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. ACE provider approval period: August 12, 2024 - August 12, 2025. Even when a social work board accepts courses offering ASWB ACE credit, licensees are responsible for determining whether courses meet the CE requirements in their jurisdictions. States and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether any individual course may be accepted for credit.

National Board of Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC) Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP)

Grace Abbott Training and Supervision Academy has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7744. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Grace Abbott Training and Supervision Academy is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Fee Structure

At the Grace Abbott Training and Supervision Academy, we aim to provide high-quality learning experiences while maintaining a clear and straightforward fee structure.

  • CE/CEU Webinars: Whether delivered live or on-demand, our webinars have a consistent pricing model to make professional development accessible and predictable for all participants. One standard CEU/ACE approved CE $10, one ethics CEU/ACE approved CE $30, and one CEU/ACE approved CE for diagnosing and treating major mental disorder $30.
  • In-Person Trainings and Workshops: Fees for in-person events vary based on the specific needs of each session, including CE/CEUs, training materials, catering, and other related expenses. This flexible pricing ensures we can tailor our offerings to provide the best possible experience for attendees.

We are committed to transparency in our pricing and are happy to address any questions about the fees for specific events. Please feel free to reach out for more information.

In certain cases, exceptions may apply based on specific program guidelines or unique circumstances. Our goal is to ensure a fair and positive experience for all participants while maintaining the integrity of our programs.

Trigger Warning

Some training topics we offer are sensitive in nature and may trigger an emotional response. Please practice positive self-care, step away if necessary, and seek resources that may assist you.
