Job and Career Opportunities with the Office of Civic & Social Responsibility (OCSR)
Employment with OCSR provides students with opportunities to engage the university with the greater Omaha metropolitan community and beyond through action projects that lead to positive social change. Commitments include partnerships with various local, regional, national, and international agencies, programs, and services that represent specific areas of interest supported and sponsored by UNO students.
These partnerships provide student employees and volunteers with rich opportunities for deep learning and intentional development of leadership skills, communication skills, civic and social responsibility, and intercultural competencies.
A Team Maverick recruiting session must be attended BEFORE applying for a student position. All applicants must apply for open positions through UNO Human Resources.

Recruitment Sessions must be attended by any student interested in applying for a position within the Division of Student Affairs. These recruitment sessions provide students with the resources necessary for them to find success when interviewing for on-campus positions and to determine whether or not their desired student position is a good fit.
At each recruitment session, students receive the expectations of a Team Maverick student employee, interview, and résumé support, as well as the next steps they must complete in order to fully apply for a position.
