Torian Richardson
- CEO DBR77 | USA
Biography
Torian Richardson is a board director, investor, builder, and caregiver with 25+ years experience scaling global operations, advising boards on strategy, risk, and ethical governance.
He's held P&L responsibility exceeding $80M, led teams of over 2,200 while living and working across four continents, and contributed to two successful portfolio company exits. Richardson's work spans sectors from finance to digital ventures, always grounded in values and execution.
Today, as a founding executive at DBR77 USA, his focus is on applying industrial intelligence and human-centered AI to automate responsibly and build future-ready systems. His leadership blends operational rigor and entrepreneurial agility.
From expanding mobile learning across Africa with Pearson PLC (London) in collaboration with the World Bank, to lessons learned from a failed launch of a digital platform in China as an entrepreneur, to steering inclusive recruiting at NVIDIA while caregiving for both parents, Richardson's career is defined by range, resilience, transparency, and purpose under pressure.
These experiences have taught him what he calls "courageous vulnerability—the ability to lead with candor, empathy, resilience, and a bias for action." This ethos fuels every board role, investment decision, and leadership partnership he undertakes.
