Rebecca Atkins, Director
Rebecca has worked in higher education for over 12 years holding various roles in admissions, academic advising, career advising, and as a part-time instructor. She enjoys working with students, walking alongside them on their individual journeys, and helping them reach success – whatever that looks like to them.
Rebecca is passionate about serving the Omaha community and does so through her roles as Secretary for the Omaha Home for Boys Board of Directors, Omaha World-Herald and United Way of the Midland’s Goodfellows Committee member, Omaha Burke High School's MBA Advisory Board, and Omaha South High School's Freshman Advisory Board.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys exercising, playing with her dog Petunia, and family time with her husband and two kids.

Brianna Piper, Prep Academy & Recruitment Specialist
Brianna has worked at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) for over 4 years, but her connection to the university runs much deeper. Having been a part of UNO’s community for over 8 years, Brianna earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees there. With a strong passion for higher education, she is dedicated to helping students discover their passions, set positive future goals, and navigate their academic journeys. Her commitment to student success and personal growth drives her to support others in making the most of their college experience and achieving their dreams.
Outside of her professional life, Brianna enjoys playing games and spending quality time with her family.
