As a strategic project manager, you will collaborate with other managers, such as finance, IT and HR managers to execute projects.

You will also analyze the project to make sure that the work aligns with the strategic goals of your organization. Earn PDUs in technical, leadership, and strategic business management to maintain your PMP certification.

Objectives

  • Learn to assess business needs, define a business strategy and outline a business case.
  • Refine your ability to effectively manage projects and interact with project constituents.
  • Recognize the importance of emotional intelligence in successful project management.
  • Understand project team dynamics.
  • Realize the impact of change on employees
  • Examine issues that impact an individual's ability to act ethically in service delivery, vendor and stakeholder relations.
  • Learn characteristics of great leadership
  • Learn tools that will improve your insight - gratitude, reframing, active listening, feedback and journaling.
