Take Point University | March 31st Conference

Learn about International Affairs and National Security at Take Point University (TPU) on Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center.

Take Point University is an initiative of the international affairs think tank, the Atlantic Council, and provides an opportunity for students to become leaders in National Security and Foreign Policy through a day of career workshops, the chance to talk one-on-one with experts in the field, and ending the day with a research pitch-style competition. All students and the public are welcome to take advantage of the day’s events.

Veteran students and service members that have served after 9/11, are eligible to present project proposals in Foreign Policy or National Security. The best pitch will earn $2,500 or more, to fund internships or projects in Foreign Policy, International Affairs, or National Security.

Student Veteran Application deadline for Research Project Pitch is March 6, 2016.
