About Jacob Hansen
Jacob Hansen, CEO and co-founder of ALA Engineering, has dedicated the past seven years building a company at the intersection of Agriculture, AI, and Autonomy. A Nebraska native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
What began as a small team with a vision has since seen success prototyping, testing, and deploying autonomous commercial vehicles for cattle feeding. He has a deep commitment to innovation in Nebraska and to proving that groundbreaking technology can be designed, built, and deployed in the heartland. He and his wife, along with their twin daughters and two dogs, are proud to call Lincoln home.
