By analyzing form and providing real-time feedback, Archery GPT helps archers of all levels improve their accuracy and consistency. This project showcases a deep understanding of machine learning, user-centric design, and API integration.

Learning Activities

Audio Recognition

Developed an audio recognition model using Teachable Machine to classify and respond to specific sound inputs. The model was trained to distinguish between three classes of audio: background noise, a snap, and a clap. By collecting and labeling a diverse set of audio samples for each category, the model learned to accurately identify and differentiate between these distinct sounds.

The final model was then tested in real time, demonstrating its ability to recognize and categorize the sounds with a high degree of confidence. This project illustrates the foundational concepts of audio classification and its potential for creating interactive, sound-activated applications.

Pose Detection

Engineered a pose detection model to enable hands-free interaction for a video game. This project involved training an AI to recognize specific head movements—idle, up, down, left, and right—and map them to in-game actions. The model was built in Teachable Machine using a series of collected image samples for each pose. After training, the model was exported and integrated into a simple car racing game, where the player's head movements directly controlled the car's direction.

The result is an effective demonstration of how machine learning can be leveraged to create novel and accessible user interfaces, translating physical gestures into digital commands for a more immersive and intuitive experience.
