Teresa Kulig is an expert on human trafficking, victimology, and the social construction of crime.
Biography
Teresa Kulig, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in UNO’s School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, teaching courses on victimology. Kulig is also the Co-Director of the Victimology and Victim Studies Research Lab (VVSRL).
Kulig is has authored two books and more than 60 articles on victimization-related topics, including studying the nature and control of human trafficking, the measurement of victimization, community responses to victimization, and more. Kulig’s research has been funded by agencies including the National Institute of Justice, National Institutes of Health, and The Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
