Biography
Saundra Shillingstad, Ed.D., is a professor in UNO’s Department of Teacher Education. Her work focuses on preparing future educators and advancing effective teaching and learning through innovative instructional practices, assessment, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Shillingstad’s research examines the use and impact of artificial intelligence in educator preparation, assessment literacy, and effective teaching practices. Her work also explores educational ethics, teacher leadership, and strategies that support student engagement and learning.
