Ryan Wong is an expert in biology, neurobiology, and animal behavior.

Biography

Ryan Wong, Ph.D., is an award-winning professor of biology in UNO’s College of Arts and Sciences, whose teaching focuses on neurobiology. Wong’s research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of animal behavior at a neural, molecular, and neurotranscriptomic level. Wong specifically studies factors that influence stress responses, learning and memory, and aggression.  

Research performed in Wong’s laboratory is funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. His research has also been highlighted in publications like Scientific Reports, Ecology and Evolution, Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience, and more.
