Roma Subramanian, Ph.D., is an expert in health communication & the impact of social media, with insights into patient-provider communication.

Biography

Subramanian’s work explores the construction and effects of health news and campaigns, as well as the impact of social and mobile media on health.

She also examines the dynamics of physician-patient communication and the role of art in health interventions. Her expertise is valuable for media professionals covering health-related topics and issues of stigma in public discourse.
