Kwangsung Oh is an expert in computer science, specializing in cloud computing and distributed systems.

Biography

Kwangsung Oh Ph.D. is an associate professor in UNO's Department of Computer Science, teaching courses on big data-driven cloud computing, data structures, and computer architecture.  

Kwangsung’s research focuses on cloud computing, edge computing, and data analytics systems. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) through the CISE Research Initiation Initiative (CRII), Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER), and Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) FIRST Award. His work advances computer systems for applications such as data analytics in local and geo-distributed settings, addressing challenges in efficiently processing and analyzing data across geographically distributed multi-cloud environments.
