Biography
Danae Dinkel Ph.D. is a professor in UNO’s School of Health and Kinesiology, where she teaches courses on implementing physical activity and wellness programs in worksite and community settings.
Dr. Dinkel is passionate about promoting movement across the lifespan, beginning at birth, and promoting the development of healthy movement habits in early childhood. Her research, which has been highlighted in publications such as the Journal on Physical Activity and Health and the Early Childhood Educational Journal, also focuses on evaluation of physical activity within childhood obesity programs, community-based health initiatives, and the impact of movement on other developmental outcomes.
