Biography
Dana Richter-Egger, Ph.D., is the director of UNO’s Math Science Learning Center, where students can find assistance when they face challenges in math and science. As part of the chemistry department, Richter-Egger teaches courses of the chemistry of the environment and society, fundamentals of chemistry, and general chemistry.
Richter-Egger's research is focused on soil and water quality, with a focus on lead contamination of soil in Omaha. He also focuses on STEM education and increasing STEM students. Richter-Egger's research has been featured in scientific publications such as Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science & Technology, and Journal of Physical Chemistry.
