Cristián Doña-Reveco, Ph.D.

Cristián Doña-Reveco, Ph.D., is an expert in migration studies & Latin American societies, immigration policies & the experiences of Latinos in the Midwest.

Biography

Originally from Chile, Doña-Reveco, Ph.D., researches both Latinos in the Midwest and Latin American migrations, seeking to develop connections between the fields of Latino Studies and Latin American Studies.

His research focuses on migration policy in Latin America’s Southern Cone, perceptions and attitudes toward immigrants in South America and the U.S. Midwest, migration decisions, and crisis and the development of a culture of fear on Omaha’s Latino community.

As OLLAS Director, he also leads several community-engaged research projects and initiatives with the Latino community.
