Biography
Chun-Hua Tsai, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in UNO’s department of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis, whose teaching focuses on database management, enterprise architecture and systems integration, information technology infrastructure, human-computer interaction and more.
Tsai’s research interests focus on the design of transparent, accountable, and human-centered AI systems. He studies how conversational agents, recommender systems, and generative AI can enhance health decision-making and support public-sector governance. In early 2026, Tsai was named an inaugural National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) AI Education fellow by the Computing Research Association to help pilot, adapt and strengthen AI education.
