Biography

Andrew Swift, D.Sc., is an associate professor and chair of UNO’s Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Swift’s research focuses on statistics, probability, and operations research, the science of optimizing systems using mathematical models.  

Swift’s research and expertise have been highlighted in numerous publications domestically and internationally, including Advances and Applications in Statistical Sciences, Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, The American Statistician, and more.
