Ask Durango is your 24/7 text-based virtual assistant for quick, reliable answers to UNO questions. Whether you’re looking for deadlines, events, or campus resources, Durango’s here to help—right from your phone. Ask Durango uses AI to answer your questions. While he strives for accuracy, mistakes can happen. Because of this, your texts aren’t anonymous and replies are monitored by UNO staff. Ask Durango is currently available only to undergraduate students enrolled in classes with a valid cell phone number on their student account.

  • Get answers to hundreds of UNO-related questions instantly.
  • Learn about important deadlines, policies, and events.

  • Receive occasional check-ins to help you stay on track.

Durango’s goal is to make your UNO experience easier, more connected, and more supportive.

Intro message: Every undergraduate student at UNO will receive a welcome text from Durango at the beginning of each semester.

For Fall 2025, expect Durango’s first message the week of Nov. 3.

Ongoing support: After that, Durango will occasionally text you during the semester to:

  • Check in on how classes are going.
  • Share tips and reminders.
  • Highlight campus resources and opportunities.
  • Ask your opinion about your UNO experience.
