Health Behavior graduate students having a discussion

The concentration prepares the graduate student for positions with agencies and organizations whose mission is to improve the health of the public through education and advocacy. Many choose to stay in their present position but are able to then infuse more education and advocacy for health in their job.

The Graduate Program in Public Health has two MS degree options:

  • Thesis (30 semester hours of coursework and 6 semester hours of thesis) and
  • Non-thesis (36 semester hours of coursework and a comprehensive exam)
