Katey received her master’s degree in integrated recovery for co-occurring disorders from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies and completed her practicum at a long-term residential substance use treatment program for women. Prior to her time at UNO, Katey served as a counselor in an intensive outpatient program focused on treating drug and alcohol addiction and then as a supervisor for a centralized intake team at an integrated health care organization.
In her free time, Katey enjoys running, practicing yoga and spending time with family.
