UNO Mav Kids and the National Alliance of Youth Sports is running two Start Smart Programs this summer: Sports Development and Soccer which are each five-week instructional programs that help parents work one-on-one with their children while teaching them the basics of sports. The Sport Development program will cover throwing, catching, kicking and batting. The soccer will work with technical basics along with focus on the basics of the sport. Registration price is for child and parent teams (parent must attend and participate with the child).

Come and enjoy this safe Halloween Day with carnival style games and activities aimed for children ages 8 and younger.
Games, photo booth, wellness vendors and a special stage show.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Omaha Food Bank, towels and blankets for the Town and Country Humane Society, and new or gently loved stuffed animals for the Mav Kids Teddy Bear Tuesday’s program that collects stuffed animals for children at local family shelters and local hospitals.
Parents are responsible for supervision of their children.
Exploring the Dimensions of Wellness
Mav Kids Summer Day Camp is a recreational day camp offering seven separate, one-week sessions that provide educational theme-based instruction allowing social interaction of campers with each other and the UNO community. The mission is to provide unique camping experiences within the safety of the UNO campus community, to develop and maintain respect for people, places and objects by developing youth leadership skills, to develop the ability to achieve goals through hands-on learning, communication and team-building activities, and to explore new frontiers.
A $40 deposit is required.
Deposits are non-refundable and are applied to the total cost of the session(s).
