Wheelchair Basketball

Wheelchair Basketball

The Adaptive Sports Program introduces student athletes to the game of wheelchair basketball through a competitive environment. This format is designed to use the team concept to engage university students with a disability who have an interest in sports.

The philosophy of Wheelchair Basketball Team Format is the same for those with and without disabilities: In a competitive environment that stresses, goal setting, teamwork, sportsmanship and socialization in a team basketball atmosphere.
