Please provide in one to two paragraphs an issue that you think should be changed or improved on
In my previous semester, I was working on campus in the food court services. Every single day, there is a lot of food that goes wasted i.e. directly thrown away. I agree with the food rules and regulations, but why make an enormous portion of food, when you know it's going to get wasted. There are tons of people starving and can't afford a single meal a day.
Please describe in one to two paragraphs what makes you qualified to sit on Student Government.
Being part of the student government at school for a period of 3 years has given me exposure of how a student government runs a school. I am very sociable, down to earth person with good communication skills. I love meeting new people and, learn and understand different cultures. I was associated with Make a Difference (MAD), a youth volunteer network in India which aims to provide equitable outcomes to children at shelter homes (2012-2015), where I had the opportunity to teach children of age 7-10 years science and mathematics. Fighting for a social change and being part of it has always helped me in becoming a better person. I also have strong leadership skills and a don't give up attitude.
