Rebekah is from Auburn, NE, and is studying electrical engineering. Her non-profit experience includes partnering with Nebraska Enterprise Fund. As a community action project, her team used design thinking to create solutions to aid the organization in reaching all of its personal goals. Her leadership experience includes being a member of the Nebraska Engineering Student Council-Omaha and being elected as vice president of membership. In this role, she is responsible for recruiting and leading a committee that plans events for the students in the College of Engineering. She is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and serves as chair on the Freshman Engineering Student Council-Omaha. Her career interests include electrical engineering, with a focus on the environmental production of electricity. She hopes to design more efficient electrical cars.
