Experiences and Involvement
At his most recent software engineering internship with Garmin, Lucas created an automated testing script to ensure quality products and save time.
While serving as a Research Assistant in the Augmentative and Alternative Communication Translation (AACT) Lab at UNL, Lucas worked with a postdoctoral researcher to set up and modify the BCI2000 software system.
He also interned with Fiserv, conducting artificial intelligence analysis on MAVE, the call center AI, to understand its flaws and suggest improvements.
For his Community Action Project with Smart Gen Society, Lucas and his team created a tool for children to use to easily report dangerous online activity.
Lucas has experience using Assembly (8051, AVR, ARM), C++, Bash, and Python, and designing PCBs.
Career InterestsHis career interests include low level embedded design testing, automation, and microprocessor design.
