Bio
Lilia is from Centennial, CO, and is studying computer science, cybersecurity, Spanish, and management information systems. Her non-profit experience includes partnering with the Open Door Mission. As a community action project, her team developed a solution to increase class and appointment attendance. They designed a display screen using Flask/Python, HTML, CSS, CSS, SQLite, and JavaScript. Her leadership experience includes being a member of the 2020 Clinton Global Initiative University. As a participant, she completed various modules on leadership and developed a commitment to action project focused on reducing regional homelessness. Lilia was also an attendee at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, CO, and the Aspen Cyber Summit in New York, where she connected with business professionals and industry experts. She also participated in the 2021 Hackathon and partnered with Millworks Commons. Her team developed a satellite prototyping studio for students and community members to collaborate and problem solve. Her internship experience includes working with the National Strategic Research Institute, where she worked as a project lead using Agile methodologies to research analysis tools and modeling software to develop a proof-of-concept. In this role, she developed and presented a CubeSat orbit using Cesium and satellite.js to determine how to view Nebraska twice a day from space. She has also interned with the Scott Scholars Design Studio, where she was a team lead using the Stanford Design Thinking process to tackle the issue of housing insecurity. In this role, she organized and conducted meetings with a group of Scott Scholars to develop a project and presentation. This summer, she will be interning with Fast Enterprises in Centennial, CO as an implementation intern. Her career interests include scrum master, project management, and leadership positions in fields like software development, social engineering, and penetration testing.
