Dillon is from Bennington, NE, and is studying computer engineering. His non-profit experience includes partnering with The AIM Institute of Technology. As part of a community action project, his team developed and tested an approach to advertise the organization's Introduction to Technology Course. His leadership experience includes participating in the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps, where he worked with Civic Nebraska to develop a plan to engage students and encourage them to participate in afterschool programs. Dillon assisted in running a JROTC drill competition. This summer, he was invited to the University of Notre Dame's Wireless Institute as a mentee in the AWaRE Summer REU Program. In this role, he will work with Dr. Hai Lin, performing research on the coordination and control of robots. His internship experience includes working at Kiewit as a SAP developer, where he used the ABAP programming language to fix bugs in the company's applications. His career interests include military technology, specifically for the United States Air Force. He is also interested in sharing his engineering knowledge with young students to improve STEM education in schools.
