Bio
Carly is from Elkhorn, NE, and is studying computer science. Her non-profit experience includes partnering with No More Empty Pots. As a community action project, her team is dedicated to eradicating food deserts across the city. Her leadership experience includes participating in the AppJam program, which is a partnership between the UNO Scott Scholars program and Apple to help students develop skills for mobile application development. Her internship experience includes AppJam, where she developed skills for mobile application development. In this role, she was responsible for developing apps for the UNMC Healing Arts Program and the UNO Maverick Food Pantry. She has also worked as a software developer for Tenaska. In that role, she worked on different applications, within their trading network to add and update various features. This summer, she will be working at Garmin in Kansas City, KS as a software engineer. Her career interests include app development and software development.
