Brendan is from Bennington, NE and is studying bioinformatics and chemistry. He founded the Future Medical Professionals Club at his high school, which supports students interested in medical careers. In this role, he convened meetings and hosted speakers. He also volunteered at Camp Invention, where he taught STEM concepts to elementary school students, including coding and robotics. His career interests include chemistry, biology, computer science, and medicine. He hopes to become a surgeon and improve medicine in rural Nebraska.
