Annabella is from Omaha, NE and is studying biology and environmental science. She served as co-captain of the Omaha South varsity volleyball team, where she was a mentor and student coach and where she earned four varsity letters. She was president of her high school's Packers Making a Change club, which managed the school’s food pantry and clothing donation closet. In this role, she prepared meeting agendas and oversaw operations. She was an executive board member of her school’s National Honor Society, where she researched service projects and assisted the chapter leader. She interned as a teaching assistant for Omaha Public Schools, Springville Elementary. In this role, she provided support to instructors and led small group tutoring sessions. Her career interests include marine biology, with a focus on conservation. She hopes to earn her Ph.D. in marine biology and research solutions for humankind's negative impact on marine life.
