Welcome to the Office of Research and Creative Activity at the University of Nebraska Omaha. The vitality of scholarly activities at UNO reflects the diversity of intellectual approaches found on campus: from inspired creativity in the fine arts, to cutting-edge research in information technology and the natural sciences, to programs serving society in Omaha and beyond.
Our scholarship is led by internationally recognized faculty but depends upon the participation of students. These students not only make great intellectual contributions to our scholarly efforts, but through these efforts acquire the knowledge and skills that prepare them as tomorrow’s leaders.
The mission of the Office of Research and Creative Activity is to support ongoing scholarly activities at UNO and to provide leadership in the development of future research programs, creative collaborations, and efforts in community outreach. Our scholars work with colleagues in academia, government, the non-profit sector and the business community. We continue to nurture additional partnerships that will further knowledge, help realize economic and human potential, and serve the interests of society.
We look forward to working with you as the scholarly endeavor at UNO continues to flourish.
