What’s New?
Design Templates
All of UNO’s design templates are now available on Lucidpress.com.
Lucidpress is an online templating tool for creating UNO-branded posters, brochures, digital signs, and other print and digital collateral. The templates provide a starting point with branded design elements and fonts but remain flexible enough to add your own photos and copy.
Please reach out to your college communicator or department lead to request access to your unit’s shared Lucidpress account.
Note: UNO has a limited number of licenses that have been strategically allocated across campus; however, additional Lucidpress seats are available for campus units to purchase, reach out to ucomm@unomaha.edu for more information.
Basic Templates
UNO’s basic templates are available for general communications materials that don’t require design work.
These ready-to-use templates include certificates, letterhead, envelopes, notecards, general documents, email signatures, and social media avatars, as well as refreshed designs for PowerPoint and research posters.
Video Templates
Video templates provide ready-made, standard graphics for UNO-branded video projects.
Keep in mind that all videos created on behalf of UNO must be sent to University Communications for final approval on the use of UNO marks before the video is finalized and published.
Download Library
The UNO download library is a hub for branded graphics that may be downloaded and used with no customization needed.
This library includes UNO-branded desktop and phone backgrounds, profile frames, contact and social graphic indicators, as well as giphys and digital stickers!
Discontinue Use of Old Templates
To ensure that UNO is meeting Title IX compliance requirements, please discontinue the use of any old templates that contain out-of-date Non-Discrimination and/or Accessibility statements (prior to 2021) or update your template to reflect the most current statements below, before your next publication.
1. The Non-Discrimination Statement
The Non-Discrimination Statement is required on all print and digital materials representing the colleges, units, and departments of UNO:
The University of Nebraska does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, and/or political affiliation in its programs, activities, or employment.
2. The Accessibility Statement
The Accessibility Statement is required when inviting anyone to any event (meeting, gathering, movie viewing, Commencement, etc.) using any format (print, electronic announcement, postcard, etc.) so that the invitee is aware of the accommodations available to them on our campus. It must be used in conjunction with the Non-Discrimination Statement.
UNO is an AA/EEO/ADA institution. For Title IX concerns, please contact the Title IX Coordinator (phone: 402.554.2120). For ADA/504 accommodations or assistance, please call/contact the ADA/504 Coordinator (phone 402.554.2463) or the Accessibility Services Center (phone: 402.554.2872).
