Lights of Aksarben - Santa and Mrs. Claus
Dec. 14 | 6 P.M. - 8 P.M.
Join Stinson Park for the Lights of Aksarben. There will be a heated tent, free horse and carriage rides, face painting, and food and drinks from Dudley’s Pizza & Tavern.

Enhance your holiday mood by strolling past a parade of dazzling window displays, each storefront masterpiece a showcase of artistry and imagination. View a collection of over 20 window displays created by local nonprofits, students and individual artists. You can event vote online for your favorite.
Holland Community Ice Public Skating

UNO's Baxter Arena - Holland Community Ice offers free open ice skating to UNO students, faculty and staff with their MavCARD.
Students can also bring non-students for a $5.00 fee and a $3.00 skate rental fee.

Holland Community Ice still offers regular public skating, however, students, faculty and staff must pay the general admission price of $5.00 and a $3.00 skate rental fee.

UNMC Ice Rink
Nov. 30 - Feb. 10
The rink is located just east of 42nd Street, midway between Emile Street and Dewey Avenue on the north side of the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.
UNO/UNMC students, faculty and staff can skate for free with their school ID. The public can pay a general admission fee of $7 that includes the skate rental.
Hours of operation are:
- Monday – 11 A.M. - 8 P.M.
- Tuesday – 11 A.M. - 1 P.M.
- Wednesday – 11 A.M. - 1 P.M.
- Thursday – 11 A.M. - 1 P.M.
- Friday and Saturday – 11 A.M. to 10 P.M.
- Sunday – 11 A.M. to 8 P.M.
