Starting Monday, Oct. 16 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees of the UNO community can sign up.
All lab draws require a 12 hour fast. Appointments will be scheduled from 6:30 to 10:00 A.M.
Pre-registration and pre-payment/or if filing with insurance is required to participate in the Wellness Blood Screen.

Wellness Blood Screen Options
Option 1 - Health Screen $40
Tests included: thyroid, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose. Also tests that detect cell disorders and chemical imbalances for the kidneys and liver.
Option 2 - Health Screen + PSA $55
Test included: all of the above and the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test - for men ages 50 and older or 45 with a family history.
Option 3 - Hemoglobin A1C $20
Screening tests for diabetes.
Option 4 - HS - CRP $35
Recognizing that atherosclerosis (plaques lining the surface of our coronary arteries) involves a chronic inflammatory process has brought greater attention to arterial “inflammation” as a risk factor for heart attack and stroke. HS - CRP is an inflammatory marker.
Health Risk Assessment
If you are a benefits eligible UNO employee or retiree, you can use your Wellness Blood Screen results to complete you annual Health Risk Assessment (HRA). The 2018 NUFlex Benefits Enrollment and Health Risk Assessment will begin on Monday, Oct. 30 and will run through Friday, November 17, 2017.

Each of the eight dimensions of wellness (environmental, spiritual, intellectual, occupational, social, financial, physical, and emotional) will be represented throughout the fair.
