Jerome Johnson is a Vietnam veteran who served in the U. S. Army from 1966-1968. He attended Officers’ Candidate School, graduated, and was appointed the rank of 2ndLieutenant in 1967.
He served in G3 general staff in Fort Knox, KY, and his service in Vietnam included B Company Commander and Battalion Adjutant, 2/47 Mech. Infantry.
A civilian since 1969, Johnson is now retired from Chicago’s Commonwealth Edison. He is a member of the Oversight Committee of the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration.
