Vaccination and Booster Clinics Returning to Campus

Being fully vaccinated, which includes getting a booster shot, is the most effective way to keep our campus safe and keep our community healthy. Our Office of Health Security team is partnering with the Douglas County Health Department to bring back walk-in vaccination and booster clinics to campus. If you are not fully vaccinated, please consider taking some time to help our community slow the spread of COVID-19:

• Tuesday, Jan. 25, Noon - 3 P.M., Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) Ballroom

• Tuesday, Feb. 8, Noon - 3 P.M., Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) Ballroom

• Tuesday, Feb. 22, Noon - 3 P.M., Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) Ballroom

Plan For Your Vaccination

• No registration is required. Visit the DCHD COVID-19 website to learn more about the vaccination process and requirements.

• Walk-in appointments will be available to individuals age 16 and older. Individuals under the age of 19 will need parental/guardian consent and a parent/guardian present in order to get the vaccine.

• If you’re coming in for your booster or second dose, please bring your Vaccination Card with you.

• Those receiving their first dose at one of the mobile vaccination clinics will need to receive their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine three weeks later at any COVID-19 vaccination location in the community.

• Interested in receiving the Pfizer booster? Please visit the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website for information regarding booster vaccinations.

Need a Replacement Vaccination Card?

We understand that accidents happen and you may have misplaced or lost your COViD-19 vaccination card. If you need a replacement, here are instructions provided by the Douglas County Health Department:

You can request a replacement vaccination card online through the DCHD website and by clicking here. If you do not have access to a computer, please call the Info Line at 402.444.3400 for assistance.

You can also access your Nebraska vaccination records through the Nebraska State Immunization Information System (NESIIS). If you are having trouble accessing your vaccination records through NESIIS online, please contact the NESIIS Help Line at 888.433.2510.
