1-hour sessions are priced as 30-minute sessions. For the price of 30min sessions, you can purchase full hour sessions. LIMIT 40 per person.
Spring Ahead – Daylight Savings Clock Worskhop
Thursday, March 5
Drop In between 10:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. | H&K 116
Paint-pour style decorate and assemble your own clock. This is a drop-in session that should take about 20 minutes for the painting portion. We recommend leaving the clock to dry and picking up and assembling after allowing time for it to dry. People can take their clocks with immediately, but it will take a day or two to dry well due to the painting technique.

Bird Watching Trip
Sunday, March 8 | 7 A.M.
Members: $10 and Non-Members: $20
Take a walk on the wild side as we explore this national wildlife refuge in its peak height of migrant bird season. You may want to bring a pair of binoculars and camera! The leaders of this trip will guide you on the trail around Desoto for you to experience as much wildlife as possible.
Bath Bombs - Drop-in Workshop

Make your own bath bombs. Using some basic ingredients and essential and/or fragrance oils you can create your own spa experience at home. $6.00 for one large bomb or for three mini bombs.
Paddleboard Yoga
Thursday, March 12
Noon - 1 P.M. | H&K Pool
Find your Center and Balance with this fun Introduction to Yoga on a Paddleboard in the Pool! Ride the wave and try something new in this popular class. Spots are limited, please register on the Imleagues app to reserve your spot!
Exercise Bands - The Universal Training Tool

Exercise bands are one of the best pieces of gym equipment. They are inexpensive, versatile, and perfect for at home, traveling, or on the go. No one is too strong or too weak to use exercise bands.
- Explanation of different kinds of bands and how to use exercise bands
- The many uses for exercise bands (stretching, progression, speed)
- How to have a total body workout with nothing but bands.
Self Defense - Teen and Adult Clinic
Saturday, March 14 | 10 A.M. – Noon
Those who attend will have a better understanding of how to recognize a threat in addition to paying attention to their surroundings. Participants will learn and perform reality based techniques that will help them stop the threat, while being able to escape and find safety. Participants will also receive working knowledge in regards to what the perpetrators look for while selecting their victims. Class covers balance displacement, breakaways, and strikes in addition to learning in a safe training environment. In lieu of a registration fee, our instructors ask for toiletry items for the Lydia House. Workshops will be in the H&K building. Minimum age is 13 and minors must attend with a parent/guardian.

UNO Martial Arts Academy
Tuesdays & Thursdays

UNO Martial Arts Academy teaches self-defense techniques incorporating Taekwondo, Hapkido and Judo. Sessions run year-round and new members are welcome at any time. First Session is FREE.
- Members and Student: One Session/Week = $20/month; Two Session/Week = $40/Month
- Non-Members: One Session/Week = $30/month; Two Session/Week = $60/Month
Spring Break: Colorado Cross Country Ski Trip

Student/Member: $240 and General Public: $285
Anyone can cross country ski! Located in Boulder County, CO, this ultra-beginner friendly trip will take you sight-see the beautiful snowy landscapes of Colorado and it’s wildlife. There will be winter games and activities, hot cocoa and coffee, and smiles on faces. Gear rental, transportation, lodging and staff expertise are all included in the price.
Mini Mav Kids – Sports Development

UNO Mav Kids and the National Alliance of Youth Sports is running two Start Smart Programs this spring: Sports Development is a six-week instructional program that help parents work one-on-one with their children while teaching them the basics of sports. The Sport Development program will cover throwing, catching, kicking and batting. The sport specific programs will work with technical basics along with focus on the basics of the sport. Registration price is for child and parent teams (parent must attend and participate with the child).
