Service Learning 101 will introduce concepts and standards of service learning, providing UNO faculty the opportunity to identify and discuss the integration of service learning into course curricula in a small group setting, Sept. 19 and 20.

The Service Learning Academy (SLA) at UNO offers support for faculty to create academic service learning projects. The SLA provides resources for the development and implementation of quality service learning on campus and with our community.
Service Learning 101 introduces concepts and standards of service learning, providing UNO faculty the opportunity to identify and discuss the integration of service learning into course curricula in a small group setting.
This workshop provides faculty time and place to imagine how to develop service learning projects involving students in active application course content and serving a genuine need in the community.
Faculty new to service learning and those with projects in development are welcome.
Join us September 19 or 20 from 2:30-4:00 P.M. in 128 Weitz CEC to learn more about service learning!
