Nov. 4-10 is Nontraditional Student Week (NTSW), which is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate our remarkable students who often juggle the competing responsibilities of work, family, and life while pursuing their educational goals.
Since 1990, the Eta Beta Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society recognizes students enrolled in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS) program who meet the criteria for inclusion in the oldest honor society for nontraditional students in the United States. Twenty-two students have been inducted this year. In addition, we recognize an Honorary Initiate whose contribution supports the success of these students. This year’s Honorary Initiate is the 55th Education and Training Section at Offutt Air Force Base, with whom we’ve partnered with for more than 65 years.

Congratulations to the new members of Alpha Sigma Lambda. And to all students who demonstrate their Maverick Spirit, we are proud to be part of your journey. You inspire us.
