Douglas County Emergency Management will test their siren notification system monthly during the severe weather season. The next test is Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 11 A.M. UNO will also test the overhead paging system in residence halls.
In conjunction with these tests, the university will conduct tests of the Overhead Paging System in Student Housing. This involves the interior and exterior housing speakers on the Dodge and Scott Campuses.
If students find that the messages are not coming over the building speakers or in their rooms during these tests, please contact University Housing to correct the issue.
If you have any questions, please contact Sgt. Dave Points, UNO Department of Public Safety, at 402.554.3700 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
